Lufuno - Song of the Nubian Girl
Lufuno Ndou is a South African-born vocalist who performs a wide variety of music including classical, musical theatre, gospel, soul, and jazz.
Lufuno is known for her work within vocal ensembles. She has been a part of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Chamber Choir, led by Jeffrey Skidmore and Paul Spicer and is currently a choral scholar of St Chad’s Cathedral Choir under the Director of Music, David Saint. She is due to perform in Grange Park Opera's production of Porgy and Bess as part of the chorus.
As a session singer, Lufuno sang on the Black Panther soundtrack at Abbey Road Studios with Voquality Singers, under choir director Ken Burton. The music was composed by Luwig Göransson and the choir was conducted by John Ashton Thomas. Lufuno also appears in Kevin Snyman's film, Longing to Belong.
