Maximilian Catalano is a British/Italian baritone studying a Master's at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under the tutelage of David Pollard.


Having completed a degree in International Relations and Politics from Cardiff University, he decided to pursue a career in classical singing.


Since then he has performed in recitals organised by Alistair McGowan, Dylan Perez, Iain Burnside and Graham Johnson. Maximilian is also part of the SongEasel Young Artist Program for 2024/25


In 2024 Maximilian made his operatic debut with Aylesbury Opera's 'La Bohème' as Schaunard. He has since performed with Guildhall Opera School in 'Die Fledermaus', Regent's Opera's 'Götterdämmerung" and Opera Holland Parks 'The Flying Dutchman' as chorus. This summer Max participated in the Waterperry Opera Festival as a young artist and will join the Accademia dell'Opera Italiana this year as a young artist


In 2024 Maximilian had the honour of performing in the Indian debut of Haydn's 'The Creation' as Raffael and Adam.
