Covered Covered & Performed Scenes Premiere of New Work Concert
Mollie is currently in her final year studying Music Performance at the University of Huddersfield. She has sung with the Junior Saint James Singers and the St James Singers in many performances, as well as twice for Evensong at St Paul’s Cathedral and recording and performing for the RSC. She has performed at the Ilmington Music Festival, which saw her take on the role of Dido when the Festival staged their first full opera, Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, in 2013. In 2014, she performed with Julian Harris and International trumpeter Simon Lenton in an Evening of Baroque Arias. The following year, the Festival staged an evening to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II becoming our longest reigning Monarch. Mollie was the Soprano soloist for the evening singing Elgar’s Coronation Ode, Tom Bowling from Fantasia on British Sea Songs and ending the evening with a rousing rendition of Rule, Britannia! In 2016, Mollie sang with the Junior St James Singers when they performed Bach’s Magnificat and Gilbert and Sullivan’s Trial by Jury. Since this, she has performed as a soloist in Vivaldi's Gloria, Handel's Messiah, Purcell’s King Arthur and Come ye Sons of Art and most recently Haydn’s Theresienmesse and Mozart’s Requiem as a soloist for the St James Singers. 2018 saw her participate in Masterclasses with World Renowned Soloists Lynne Dawson and Roderick Williams and ended the year with Charpentier’s Messe de Minuit and Te Deum.
