Welsh baritone Owain Gwynfryn is a dynamic artist on a rapid upward trajectory. A 2023 graduate of the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama, he came to singing professionally after a successful career as a chiropractor, bringing a profound and unique physical understanding to his vocal work.

His upcoming engagements demonstrate his growing presence on the UK stage, including the role of Conrad in Offenbach’s Die Rheinnixen (Gothic Opera), covering Tonio in Pagliacci (Midsummer Opera), and performing as a soloist in Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle.

Recent highlights include Giorgio Germont in La Traviata, the role of Wolfie in a new tour of Lucy Mulgan’s children's opera Red! (Barefoot Opera), and Harašta in Hampstead Garden Opera’s OFFIE-winning Cunning Little Vixen. He has performed with the choruses of Opera Holland Park, Longborough Festival Opera, and Grange Park Opera.

Owain is a highly experienced and sought-after oratorio soloist. His vast repertoire includes Verdi's Messa da Requiem, Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem, Bach's St John's Passion, Haydn's The Creation, Handel's Messiah, and Beethoven's Mass in C and Mass in B Minor.

In his spare time, Owain runs a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the mental health of LGBTQ+ men through community and connection.
