Rebecca Eckley-Smith is a classically trained soprano and a recent graduate from the BMus vocal studies course at the Royal Academy of Music. She studied with Richard Berkeley-Steele and James Cheung. Prior to this, she attained a certificate of higher education in music at Durham University, whilst also holding a choral scholarship at Durham. She has a great passion for chorus and opera singing, having recently joined many of London’s leading choirs – including the BBC Symphony chorus and the Bach Choir and with this has performed at the Royal Albert Hall for the Last Night of the Proms.

Rebecca works as a music teacher at both Hounslow Music Service and Wandsworth Music Service. She teaches curriculum music lessons to multiple schools across London, leads vocal projects and teaches 1:1 and group lessons, helping students prepare for their GCSE and A level performance exams and ABRSM sing exams. She also has a Licentiate of teaching from the Royal Academy of Music, after studying for this in 2024. She has lots of experience working with a big age range of young people (ages 3-17 years old).
