"A truly astonishing vocal performance...seemingly incapable of making an unpleasant sound, she made even the twiddliest of twiddly bits seem not just organic and necessary but effortless....a performance that could serve as a masterclass in bel canto singing."
"Dale plays Gretel's dream in Act II in slow motion dumb show as she turns the milk from the restored jug into angels' wings for her mother and father: it was a remarkable piece of theatre which bowled me over"
“A lovely expressive actress and singer” “A beautiful voice and a great sense of comic timing”
''fresh-sounding, beautifully on pitch and sang with great artistry''
