Ricardo then moved to London (where he is still based) to study with italian mezzo-soprano, Laura Sarti at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, having finished the MMus in Vocal Performance in July 2011.
Throughout his studies, Ricardo also had the opportunity to work with renowned teachers and coaches such as Patricia MacMahon, Robin Bowman, Enza Ferrari and the singers Della Jones, Montserrat Caballé, Teresa Berganza and Emma Kirkby.

He currently studies with the Welsh tenor, Dennis O'Neill.
