Since Sara began her musical journey, she has undertaken coaching and master-classes with Emma Winscom, Dame Janet Baker, Dame Felicity Lott, John Ramster, Adrian Pike, John Rutter, Nigel Short, and Catherine Wyn-Rogers to name a few. She now studies with Christine Cairns, former singing teacher at Birmingham Conservatoire.

Sara began singing from a very young age and by 13 had already appeared as a soloist in Purcell's 'Dido and Aeneas' with Ex Cathedra choir and consort at the CBSO Centre, Birmingham. At age 16 Sara was awarded a music scholarship to the prestigious Solihull School, and from there went on to study Vocal & Opera Studies for a short time at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Sara has sung with many groups over the years including Chandos Choir, Eton Choral course choir, National Youth Choir of Great Britain, Midland Opera Company, Great Witley Opera, and has been affiliated with highly-accredited 'Ex Cathedra' Baroque Choir and Consort for some 17 years.

She has also sung as a Freelance Soprano soloist in many oratorios, song cycles and recitals with groups such as Armonico Consort, Ex Cathedra, and weekly at St Chad's Cathedral Choir as a Professional Chorister. Sara's solo engagements have taken her up and down the country performing in regional competitions, appearing on radio, TV broadcasts, Live cinema & in concert for choral societies, choirs, at weddings and corporate functions.

She has just completed a 9 month run, singing in the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Macbeth in the RSC's theatre in Stratford-upon-avon and in the Barbican Centre, London.

2015 saw Sara take her first professional title lead role in Bizet's opera, 'Carmen', and she is just about to embark upon a 4 month education project with the Welsh National Opera as one of their guest artists.
She hopes to continue building her portfolio both nationally and internationally in the field of opera.
