• Silvia Colombini was born in Rome and grew up in a famous Italian musical family.
• EXPERIENCE - She has acquired a twenty-year of artistic experience on the main international stages, performing most of the best known Light Lyric Coloratura Soprano operatic roles.
• QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING/AWARDS - After graduating with a diploma in violin and in opera singing, following the suggestion of Edita Gruberova, she studied in Vienna under Ruthilde Boesch, who was famously Gruberova's teacher. She won three international singing competitions and, in 1999, she made her debut in Vienna in the role of Adele in J.Strauß's "Die Fledermaus".

Critically acclaimed as an exceptional Mozart interpreter, her Mozart operatic roles include: Blonde (Die Entführung aus dem Serail); Pamina and the Queen of the night (The Magic Flute); Despina (Così fan tutte); Elisa and Aminta (Re Pastore); Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro). About the contemporary repertoire, she has performed one of the most difficult roles ever written for soprano: Cordelia (in A. Reimann's Lear) at the Teatro Regio in Turin (director: Luca Ronconi) and at the Dresden Semperoper Theatre (director: Willy Decker).
• PERFORMINGS ARTS SOPRANO - She regularly performs in concert halls worldwide, receiving the epithet of “Soprano d’Arti” (Performing Arts Soprano) for her unedited and original concert formats in which she acts and sings in 11 languages. Her concert programs include opera’s arias and cross-over vocal pieces.
• SINGING LANGUAGES - She is the only classical singer to be able to sing in 11 languages: Italian, Spanish, German, French, English, Portuguese, Czech, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean.
• AUDIENCE - She gave performances for a large audience as in the Donizetti’s Elisir d’Amore, at the Israeli Opera Tel Aviv open-air performance - in front of 35 thousand people - and in the big open air concert “Memorial Pavarotti” (the official commemoration concert in memory of Luciano Pavarotti, in his home town of Modena), organized by UNHCR (the global organisation dedicated to saving lives and protecting the rights of refugees).
• RECORDINGS - She has sung and recorded for the labels: DECCA Records (with the Auditorium Verdi of Milan) and Parco della Musica records (with the Auditorium of Rome).
• SPECIAL CONCERTS - Silvia has a long standing musical collaboration with the Italian and International diplomatic corps (charity concerts and human rights concerts in Africa, India, Europe). She sang for two Presidents of the Italian Republic (Mattarella and Ciampi) and two Popes (Francesco and Wojtyla).
• TOURNÉE - She has performed on tour in Japan in many of the principal cities, including: Sagamiohno, Sagamihara, Shizuoka, Tokyo (Green Hall Sagami-Ohno, Kanagawa Kenritsu Kenmin Hall, Bunka Kaikan, Gunma Kenmin Kaikan, Shinjuku Bunka Center, Tochigi-ken Sogo Bunka Center), Nagoya, Kurashiki. • She regularly goes on tour in China, where she has gained the epithet of “The Queen of Italian Opera”. She has performed in many of the principal cities, including: Suzhou, Guangzhou, Shanghai City Theatre, Shanghai Concert Hall, Ningbo, Zhuhai, Kunming, Chongqing, Hebei Arts Center in Henan province, Nanchang Arts Center, Nanning, Hangzhou Theater, Taicang Grand Theater, Dalian Arts Center, Jining River Concert Hall, Taizhou, Jining, Harbin, Jilin, Zhangye, Tianshui, Shan Dong, Yin Chuan, Taiyuan Nangong Theatre.
• COACHING – Tireless researcher, she created the Innovative Singing Method ARS-C (Arte della Resistenza Superata) Art of Overcome Resistance. This Method was presented for the first time in China at the Tongji University of Shanghai in 2011. The Method is taught at the “Accademia Musicale di Brera” in Milan and in international master-classes for students and vocal coaches.
