Australian/British soprano Stephanie Lloyd studied at the University of Queensland (UQ) with Shaun Brown and the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (QCGU) with Margaret Schindler. In 2019 Stephanie graduated from a Master of Arts: Advanced Vocal Studies (Distinction) at the Wales International Academy of Voice (WIAV), where she studied with Dennis O'Neill and Nuccia Focile.

After graduating a Master of Music Studies from QCGU (2013), Stephanie relocated to the United Kingdom for 8 years. In 2014 and 2015 Stephanie worked with visual artist, William Mackrell, on two collaborations: Soprano for Route No.141 and Soprano for Sleep Time App. These collaborations included performances at Olympia London and The William Bennington Gallery.

Stephanie joined the Glyndebourne Festival Chorus in 2018 for the Summer Festival and Tour. As part of the Chorus, she performed across 6 productions including La traviata, Cendrillon, Madama Butterfly, Der Rosenkavalier, Saul & Vanessa. She covered the role of Annina in La traviata and sang the role in La traviata: Behind the Curtain.

In summer 2019, Stephanie joined Garsington Opera for their summer season, covering the role of Miss Jessel (The Turn of the Screw) and as part of the chorus for The Bartered Bride and Fantasio. She returned to the Glyndebourne Chorus for their 2019 tour production of L'elisir d'amore.

Stephanie performed in a revival of Barry Kosky's Saul as part of the chorus at Théâtre du Châtelet in January 2020. In the summer she was due to return to Glyndebourne for their 2020 Summer Festival, which was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In the summer of 2021, Stephanie returned to work with the Glyndebourne Festival Chorus for a new production of Luisa Miller. In September 2021, Stephanie moved to Berlin to take up a full-time position at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, where she now maintains a busy performing schedule as part of the Chorus and in occasional step out roles.
