Wiktoria Wizner, Polish mezzo soprano, currently graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow where she has been studying under the tutelage of Clare Shearer. In 2021 she became one of the artists represented by Kamedulski Art Agency.
Born on 21 of May 1992 in Koszalin, Poland, she graduated from Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz with Master of Art: Vocalism degree in 2018.
She debuted in 2014 as Filipievna in 'Eugene Onegin' at Opera Nova’s stage in Bydgoszcz and she was the youngest of the cast. The following year, she performed as Marcellina in 'Le nozze di Figaro' in Musical Theatre in Toruń. She has also a wide experience with operetta roles; in 2016 Wiktoria performed as Fedora in 'Der Opernball' in UMK Auditorium in Torun, in 2017 she played Sylvia Varescu in 'The Gypsy Princess' in Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz and in 2018 debuted in The Baltic Stage Opera in Gdansk in 'Orpheus in the underworld' as Minerva.
In 2019 Wiktoria performed as the first singer ever the main role in a new written opera 'Salija' by Krzysztof Dobosiewicz.
She started her education at the Opera School of Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2019. In February 2020 Wiktoria performed as Mrs. Peachum in 'Die Dreigroschenoper' at AGOS Theatre in Glasgow. She also prepared Ottavia’s role in 'Il coronazione di Poppea' in June 2020.
In November 2021 Wiktoria performed successfully in a fully stage version of Dobosiewicz's 'Salija' in Philharmonic in Gorzow Wielkopolski.
Her latest roles are Cornelia in 'Giulio Cesare', Older Lady in 'Flight'. Wiktoria will also cover Elsie's Whinthrop in Crabtree's 'Ghost Train' at St Magnus International Festival in Kirkwall, Orkney.
During her education at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, she had a pleasure to work with many prominent artists, singers, répétiteurs , conductors, directors, casting directors, including Seann Alderking, Giselle Allen, Natalia Babinska, John Butt, Karen Cargill, Caroline Clegg, Jack Furness, Stephen Lawless, Tony Legge, Lumír Olšovský, Steve Phillips, Sarah Playfair, Maria Sartova, Jitka Stokalska, Ingrid Surgenor.
Wiktoria is a winner of many national and international vocal competitions. She has also a varied concert experience. Her performances were held in The Baltic Philahrmonic in Bydgoszcz, The Swietokrzyska Filharmonia in Kielce, Philharmonic in Koszalin, Philharmonic in Lodz, The Chamber Opera in Warsaw, The Cathedral in Grodno (Belarus), The Dramatic Theatre in Nikolayev (Ukraine) Palazzo Mezzacapo in Maiori (Italy).
