Second Prize . Feis Ceoil (2022)
Born in Romania, Gheorghe completed his studies in vocal performance in Italy at the Conservatorio di Musica J . Tomadini.
After graduating he took part in masterclasses with Alessandro Corbelli, Sharman Low ,Sonia Prina Teresa Berganza, Leontina Vaduva, Viorica Cortez, Mariella Devia ,Emma Kirkby Marcello Lippi, Celine Byrne and others.
In 2011 he was awarded first prize at the Festival of Romanza da Salotto , Conegliano- Italy
and in 2012 he won a bursary for Best male performer ,awarded by the Rotary Club of Livorno, Italy ,for the project “Mozart Livorno”.
His operatic roles include: Don Alfonso, Guglielmo, in Cosi fan tutte; Figaro and Count in Le Nozze di Figaro; Don Magnifico end Alidoro in La Cenerentola; Taddeo in Italaiana in Algeri ; Colline , Alidoro and Benoit in La Boheme; Leporello and Masetto in Don Giovanni ; Pistola in Falstaff; Ceprano in Rigoletto.
Gheorghe has sung in Romanian Ateneo, and in the italain theatres as Livorno, Pisa ,Luca, and Torino, Caserta,
Recentely Gheorghe was invited to sing in the Birghitte Festival in Estonia , where he has performed Don Alfonso in Cosi fan tutte.
