MMus Vocal Performance Distinction
Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance
2011–2013

Teresa's recent work with The Merry Opera Company has included a major role in their operatic revue: "Around the World in 32 Arias", showcasing her talent with arias including Gounod's Jewel Song (Faust), Je Veux Vivre (Roméo et Juliette) and Bernstein's Glitter and be Gay (Candide) with director Christopher Cowell. With Merry Opera she is part of the critically acclaimed staged Messiah, which will be performed again in Autumn 2015, and has also sung Rachel Harmon in the jukebox opera, Kiss me, Figaro! (John Ramster).

Her operatic roles include the title role in La Calisto (Cavalli), Maria in Mansfield Park (Jonathan Dove) and Messegiera in Orfeo (Monteverdi) with Hampstead Garden Opera. She sang Tilly in The Secret Garden (Stephen McNeff) with Trinity Laban and has sung scenes from Arabella (title role), Anne (Die Lustigen Weiber von Windsor), Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier), Fiordiligi (Cosí fan tutte) and Third Spirit (The Magic Flute).

Whilst studying Archaeology at Selwyn College, Cambridge, she dedicated most of her time to singing as a choral scholar. Despite this she gained a 1st in her Archaeology degree, and also gained valuable stage experience, performing chorus roles in several university operas. She subsequently spent a year living in Bologna where her passion for italian opera grew with her newfound language skills. She completed an MMus studying with Sophie Grimmer at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, graduating with a distinction in 2013 and has continued to enjoy a varied schedule of recitals (with baroque trio Quella Fiamma), concerts and operas since.
